A must read for everyone in search of Bharat's Civilisational History
A story about lion Hunt written from Hunter's point of view, Indian History also written by its occupier Colonials. So I was always skeptic of History told in Schools, Colleges, Universtities as theat narrative totally different from History heard over generations of our ancestors.
With a curiousity of how a Frenchman with Christian belief would have depicted Bharata, I picked this book. I must say, Francois surprised me. Every detail of the missed plot explained lucidly. Most of these either deliberately missed/ ignored by our brown skinned marxist. History as told from our, native Indian, perspective. This is not New History, it is indeed the History of Bharata.
